Mary Eden Valentini was left at a ministry orphanage shortly after she was born, her parents being presumed dead. Of course, her mother was deceased, but her father was the demon, Asmodeus, unknowingly spreading his lineage during his time on earth. Mary was raised under the tutelage of the Sisters of Sin, receiving a high school diploma. It was shortly after this graduation that she was allowed to join the ministry and, after two years, she took her first vows. The ministry was, after all, all she ever knew, and she so deeply desired to give back to them. It was during this that she took a new name to represent her new life: Amaris Giulia.
After only five years of her service as a Sister, around her 26th birthday, she was appointed by the Clergy to become Sister Imperator's secretary, her right hand woman. This came with new responsibilities - managing the Ghouls, preparing itineraries for numerous tours, and, using the sewing skills she had picked up whilst living in the orphanage, designing and sewing the numerous costumes for the Papas and the Ghouls.
